Paint Your Heart Out, Inc. Receives Grant from Target for Paint Day Programs

Paint Your Heart Out has a partnership with Target in recognition of its efforts in assisting homeowners in Orange County. Paint Your Heart Out's Paint Day Programs restore hope, one home at a time by refurbishing and repainting the homes of low-income, senior and/or disabled homeowners in the cities of Anaheim, Brea, Orange and Santa Ana. The work is done by 1000's of volunteers who donate their time and energy all at NO COST to the grateful recipients.

According to Debbie Schultz, PYHO Executive Director "Target's financial assistance is allowing us to accelerate the positive momentum of our Paint Day programs. We are extremely proud of our new partnership with Target. By working together in our communities we are able to spread the mission of "Restoring Hope, One Home at a Time."

This grant is part of ongoing efforts by Target to strengthen families and communities throughout the country. Since opening its doors, Target has given 5% of its income to organizations that support education, the arts and safe families and communities. Today that translates to $3 million every week.

"At Target, we are making a real difference every day through our grant-making program," said Laysha Ward, Vice President, Community Relations, Target. "We're proud to partner with Paint Your Heart Out as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the communities where our guests and team members live and work."
