Welcome to PYHO

What Is PYHO?
Paint Your Heart Out is a California non-profit corporation. PYHO is supported by individuals, businesses, foundations and fund raising activity. Since its inception, PYHO has recruited volunteers from the community and used donated supplies and materials or those bought with donations to repair, and refurbish homes for low to moderate income seniors and/or disabled homeowners. Criteria for the recipients includes: low income according to HUD guidelines, owns their home, in the designated cities and is either over 65 years old or receiving disability. Since 1991, over 800 homes have been refurbished, a value of five and a half million dollars in neighborhood improvements, at no cost to the home owners.

Mission
Paint Your Heart Out, Inc. is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization that helps low to moderate income, senior, or disabled homeowners maintain their dignity, safety and connections to the community.

Vision
Paint Your Heart Out will be a leader in community service, providing assistance to low or moderate income homeowners, especially those who are senior or disabled. We will bring resources to help care for them and their homes. We are committed to enhancing the lives of those in our care, our volunteers and our donors.
